Is it possible that Christopher Titus is the greatest working comic?

Coming from an all but hilarious background; his mother, a manic-depressive schizophrenic, was in and out of mental institutions throughout his childhood. She killed her third husband and later killed herself. His father was an alcoholic who was fairly brutal to him his whole life. His wife of fifteen years forged checks, cleaned out his bank accounts, and cheated on him with two men. While most people would want to suck on a bullet just reading the above, Titus turned it into comedy.  Or “hard funny” as he calls it.
Titus’ famed “Norman Rockwell is Bleeding” show at the Hudson Theater in LA, led to the creation of Fox’s dark comedy ‘Titus’,  which got Titus a Writer’s Guild and Emmy nomination.
Titus tackles issues that most comedians run from, pulling on a lifetime of experiences for material.  His one mans show “Love is Evol” premiered on Comedy Central and his newest “Neverlution” and “I Want a Blacker President” are already pushing the envelope in clubs around the country. 

So yes,  it is quite possible the Christopher Titus is the greatest working comic today.  And if you’re not convinced, check him out live!
