Cherie Currie was the teenage front woman of legendary all girl group, "The Runaways" in the 1970's. While men were exploring glam rock, she and The Runaways pushed other boundaries, granting women permission to be bold and to rock even harder than the men.  These days, she's the best-selling author of 'Neon Angel: A Memoir Of A Runaway', which spawned the 2010 feature film "The Runaways" starring Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie and Kristin Stewart as Joan Jett.  Cherie has also completed a new album produced by Matt Sorum of Guns N’ Roses with guests like Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins, Brody Dale, Matt's former band mates, Slash and Duff, The Veronica's and Juliette Lewis.  She is also a formidable actress starring in films with Demi Moore, Robert Carradine but most notably with Jodie Foster in the 1980's classic "Foxes".  Cherie has the unexpected and rare talent of being a chainsaw artist. She exemplifies the term 'renaissance woman'; her powerful vocals, explosive stage presence, authenticity and spirit have kept her in the spotlight where she continues to inspire as a female rock pioneer and style icon.
