Founded by guitarist/songwriter Michael Timmins and bassist Alan Anton, the Cowboy Junkies’ music is a combination of traditional country, blues, and folk. The band’s first widespread release ‘The Trinity Session’ was recorded inside Toronto’s Church of the Holy Trinity using only one microphone to record in the span of one night. The album became a cult hit and the band quickly became an underground sensation.
With over 20 albums under their belt, the Cowboy Junkies have a huge catalogue of music, making each live show innovative and unique.
