Best known for his vocals in the post-punk \ goth rock band, Bahaus, Peter Murphy has been a major player in the music industry since the 1970’s.
After leaving Bahaus in 1983, Murphy began his solo career and released hits such as “Cuts You Up”, “The Line Between The Devil’s Teeth” and “The Sweetest Drop”. Murphy has never been a musician who fits into a mold. His live show is constantly evolving and gaining the attention of new fans on each and every tour.
In a recent interview, Murphy stressed the importance of listening to music in a live setting. He stated “It’s important for people like myself to connect with an audience. I’m not talking about Facebook—I’m talking about a live show. People can really start to form a congealed idea in their relationship with an artist. That kind of connection is missing in the digital world: You experience things more in a tangible realm than in a virtual existence.”
