The one true show, Lord of the Pasties: The Return of the Bling, is finally returning to the white halls of The State Theatre! We will once again be rolling back the grey rain-curtain of this world and turning all to silver glitter and rhinestones! Join new and past members of The Fellowship as we shake our Silmarils and interpret favorite characters from J.R.R. Tolkien’s literary classics The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings in ways that will make your wizard’s staff light up.
Coming together from all the lands of Middle-earth are: MARIA BELLA (Baltimore), DANCE AFI RE’S ANARCHOIR OF RADIANT DAYS (DC), DEANNA DANGER (Richmond), DIVA DARLING (DC), MOURNA HANDFUL (MD), KAY SERA (MD), CHERÍE SWEETBOTTOM (DC), and goblin hostess, WEDJI TUCHEEKS (DC).
This show will feature new acts of burlesque, song, and sideshow as well as old favorites from Lord of the Pasties: The Two Tassels. So summon the Eagles, jump in a barrel, or mount a Warg because not even Smaug the Golden should keep you from The State Theatre on July 19th!
