Based in Chicago, The Watchmen have been playing a blend of fast and furious post apocalyptic punk, twisted indie folk, psychedelia, and proto-grunge since the mid-80’s. Anchored by the surrealistic lyrics and vocals of Paul Santori and the prog-rock on amphetamine lead guitar of Brian Gay, a founding member of DC hardcore legends Government Issue and driven by a powerhouse rhythm section featuring former Subverts bassist Steve Ross with Nashville recording artist Andy Coffey and Seattle’s Matt Waller on drums, the band create a wall of sound that will have you up and screaming for more.
