DINING
The State Theatre
has a full service in-house restaurant for those patrons at the dining tables.
Tables may be reserved, while they last, by calling the business office
(703 237-0300) 12 Noon to 5 PM weekdays. Reservations are accepted until
5 PM the day before the show at a fee of $10 per 2-person table and $20
per 4-person table. Tables are held until 45 minutes after the doors open.
There is a $10 per person food minimum (does not include drinks) at the
dining tables.
For those patrons in standing room or in the balcony seats, food is generally
available at the main lobby bar.
There are four full service bars in the building - two in the main room
and one each in the main and balcony lobbies.
Please note that there are some occasions when this standard seating/standing arrangement is modified. For certain shows (sometimes at the artist's request and sometimes because of the nature of the show), the Theatre is configured for either all seated or all standing. The most common of these secondary arrangements are:
* Auditorium all
seated for dining. The menu is generally lighter in this configuration and
the capacity is 500.
* Auditorium all standing. Light
food service at the bars. Capacity 1000
* Auditorium all seated - theatre style (rows of chairs, few or no tables).
Capacity 650.
Please check the individual show listings on the Upcoming Shows page for any non-standard seating arrangements.
