The Lonestar state natives Willy and Cody Braun are anything but lonestars-with a die-hard, fierce fan base that get fired up every time the boys of Reckless Kelly are in town. Creating an all-American hybrid between a country and rock group, Reckess Kelly is a prime example of good, pure fun music.

Their most recent album, Bulletproof defines the band not only as the hard-rocking, bad asses that they are, but also as a group who will speak the truth about some of our nation's most touchy subjects. One of Bulletproof's most powerful tunes is "American Blood", a pointed indictment of the war in Iraq and obvious stand against the leaders who sacrifice young soldiers for all the wrong reasons. “I’ve never been a very political guy. I’m just a songwriter trying to tell a story and attempting to shed light on the cold hard truth that not everything about this war makes sense,” says lead singer/songwriter/guitarist Willy Braun.

Whether or not you agree with Reckless Kelly's cold hard lyrics, no one can deny that the boys can really crank it up and rock.
