Tickets

Below are details about our tickets and how to get them.

THREE WAYS TO BUY A TICKET:

1. Online. Click the SHOWS tab above and select the BUY TICKETS link next to the event you would like buy tickets for. Online ticket fees will apply depending on the ticket price.

2. Over the phone. Call us at 703-237-0300 *see box office hours OR call Ticket Alternative at 877-725-8849 9am to 9pm Monday through Sunday. Phone ticket fees will apply depending on the ticket price.

3. In person at the Box Office at 220 N Washington St. Falls Church *see box office hours  A $1 per ticket fee will apply regardless of the ticket price.

Tickets purchased online and over the phone have the same service fees.  Tickets purchased in person have only a $1/ticket service fee and is the cheapest way to buy tickets.

Box Office Hours:
Mon - Sat 12pm - 6pm
Show Nights: 12pm - 10pm
Sunday: 2 hours before door time - 10 pm


TABLE RESERVATIONS
Table reservations are available for the majority of our shows.  When table reservations are not available, either because they are sold out or the show is all-standing, it will be noted on the event’s details page.

Table reservations can only be made by calling the Box Office at 703-237-0300 during the box office hours listed above.  You are not guaranteed a seat unless you have a table reservation.

Some tables are kept for diners on a first-come first-serve basis, so if you don’t make a dining reservation ahead of time and you arrive early enough, you may be able to get one of these tables.

GETTING YOUR TICKET
If you purchased tickets online
and chose print at home, you’re done.  Be sure to bring your ticket with the barcode to the event.  If you choose not to print at home, you can still pick up your tickets at Will Call.
If you purchased tickets over the phone, your tickets will be held at will call.  You can pick them up any day the box office is open during box office hours.
If you purchased tickets in person, bring your tickets to get into the show.

SEATING/STANDING
Each show has a combination of seated and standing room.  Unless its an all seated show, standing room is available directly in front of the stage, on the sides of the room and in the back of the room.  Check out the floor plan.

TICKET POLICY
All tickets are non refundable - unless the show is cancelled. Ticket refunds will be processed up to 30 days after the cancelled date.
Support acts are subject to change.

AGE RESTRICTIONS
The majority of shows at State are 18+ which means you must be 18 years of age or older to come in.  If you are under 18, you can come but must be accompanied by YOUR parent (not your older sibling or your friend’s parent).
Some of our shows are 21 and up which means you must be 21 years of age or older to enter.  Period.
And occasionally there will be an all ages show.
Valid ID is always required to enter.
There is a $3 security fee (collected at the door) for all patrons under the age of 21 UNLESS they are accompanied by their parent.

Age restrictions per show will always be listed on the show’s details page.

PAYMENT
We accept all major credit cards. 

Open Tab with Debit Card Procedures:
When opening up a tab, either at a dining table or at one of the bars, your card will be pre-authorized in the amount of $50. If and when the tab exceeds $50, the authorization will automatically increase in $25 increments throughout the night. All pre-auth holds are released at the end of the night.  Most banks however will take 3-5 business days to release the funds and show the correct charge amount.
