Asleep at the Wheel played their first show in Washington, D.C. shortly after their formation in Paw Paw, West Virginia, opening for Alice Cooper and Hot Tuna. 40 years, a couple dozen albums, a Rolling Stone's Best Country Western Group, a record 10 Austin City Limits performances, a country musical starring themselves, collaborations with all of classic Country's heavy hitters, some jingles and TV work during the lean years, two handfuls of GRAMMY's to show for it, Asleep at the Wheel returns to where it all began, Reinventing the Wheel as their latest effort is aptly titled. Don't miss these seminal Western Swing legends as they take the stage one more time for your listening pleasure.
