The Fly Palomino Tour 2010 brings together two of America's best young bluegrass outfits.
The Infamous Stringdusters emerged, in the truest sense of the word, in 2007, winning Emerging Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year for their debut Fork in the Road at the International Bluegrass Music Association awards. They haven't slowed since, releasing an eponymous LP and 2010's Things That Fly. Drawing on the talents of young but established Nashville musicians, the Stringdusters' future appears as bright as their impressive past.
Without press or radio support or a national release until now, Trampled by Turtles continue to play to sold-out venues nationwide; with 2010 bringing the band for the first time to SxSW, Stagecoach Fest, High Sierra Fest, Wakarusa, DelFest (Bluegrass legend Del McCourey’s festival) and more. They’re even getting their own star at legendary Minneapolis club First Avenue, where they can regularly sell out two consecutive nights at the 1600-capacity venue.
