The State Theatre

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS IS A HALF-SEATED, HALF-STANDING PERFORMANCE. 

THERE WILL BE A VERY LIMITED NUMBER OF DINING TABLES AVAILABLE ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS AT 7 PM FOR PATRONS WHO WISH TO DINE.  There is a $10/person food minimum at all tables.  There is also seating in the balcony.  If you do not have a reservation and are interested in dining before the show, we encourage you to visit one of our neighborhood restaurants prior to the show. Food will also be available at the Lobby Bar.

A bass player above all else, Meshell brings her signature warm, fat, and melodic groove to everything she does. After 20 plus years in an industry that has called her everything from avant garde to a dying breed, what unquestionably remains is the creativity and curiosity of this authentic musical force. As an artist Meshell's albums have included aspects of dub, rock, metal, soul, acid jazz, spoken word, hip hop, and good ole funk. This time around Meshell will be honoring one of her greatest influences, Prince.
