Over the last few years, Missouri-bred David Cook's life has been punctuated by extraordinary highs. In short order, the 28-year-old singer, songwriter, and musician won the 7th season of America's most popular television show, American Idol, in 2008. Later on that year, Cook released his self-titled major label debut album in November. Not only did Cook rewrite chart history with a record-breaking 14 debuts on Billboard's Digital Songs chart, the album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard album chart, spawned two Top 20 singles, and sold more that a million copies, certifying it platinum status.

Riding off the waves of his successful June 2011 sophomore release, 'This Loud Morning', David Cook is currently touring nationwide and will bring his alternative rock, grunge-tinged sound to the State Theatre for a special November 18th performance.
