Formed in the early 1990’s at George Mason University, Emmet Swimming is a four piece alternative rock band. The band has toured with many successful bands including Dave Mathews Band and the Barenaked Ladies. The bands unique style has gotten them nominated for 14 Washington Area Music Awards and they have sold over 100,000 albums over the years. Singer Todd Watts explained in an interview that “We’ve tried really hard to make the live shows kind of an emotional roller coaster, and I think thats true with the album(s) as well.”
