The State Theatre

The Right On Band is not your average 70's tribute show, the group has truly earned the title "The World's Greatest 70's Show Band." A ten-piece band with a full horn section, the Right On Band has been keeping the 70's alive for 15 years. They have performed all over the world, with notable performances such as President Obama's Inaugural Ball and opening for acts like KC & The Sunshine Band, The Doobie Brothers, Hall & Oates, The Commodores and The Village People. 

Proceeds benefit Children's National Hospital and all toys collected will be donated to their Dr. Bear's Toy Closet.  Playing is essential when a child is undergoing difficult treatment or procedures due to illness. Providing a new game or toy and watching a smile on a child’s face is a special moment for families, staff and volunteers. Dr. Bear®’s Closet , a room filled with donated toys, games, books, and other items, makes these moments happen. The closet provides items to thousands of patients in Children’s play rooms, waiting rooms, inpatient units, ambulances, the Emergency Department and Regional Outpatient Centers, such as Dialysis, Oncology, Surgical Care, and the Health Centers. Bring in an unwrapped toy, and get in for free!!

Please make sure your donations:

• Are NEW (toys, stuffed animals, blankets, or clothes) to meet the hospital’s infection control requirements.
• Meet consumer product safety codes a toy’s package will say if it meets the codes.
• Include only non-toxic materials (toys or craft kits with glue or markers) the package will say if it is.
